These terms describe the basic rules for using CookieMonsters. The goal is simple: provide a safe, friendly community and make expectations clear.

1. Using CookieMonsters
You must use CookieMonsters lawfully and in accordance with our Code of Conduct. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping your sign-in methods and devices secure.
2. Community content
You keep ownership of content you create. By posting or uploading content, you give CookieMonsters the limited permission needed to host, process and display it to the audience you selected and to operate the relevant feature.
3. Respecting other members
Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, exploit or deliberately expose another person's private information. Do not upload illegal content or content you do not have the right to share.
4. Connected services
CookieMonsters may let you connect services such as Discord, Facebook and Steam. Those services have their own terms and policies. You are responsible for the accounts you choose to connect.
5. Moderation and account action
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or close accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce community rules, protect members, prevent abuse or comply with law.
6. Availability and changes
CookieMonsters is an evolving community service. Features may change, move, be limited or be discontinued. We try to avoid unnecessary disruption and to communicate material changes when practical.
7. Privacy and deletion
Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. Information about deleting account data is available on the Data deletion page.
8. No guarantee
CookieMonsters is provided on an as-available basis. We work to keep the service reliable and secure, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or that every feature will always be error-free.
